2024 STEM Conference Call for Presenters!

Dear DATTA SA,

We promised a return to a conference this year and DATTA SA is pleased to announce we are joining forces with three other associations to bring together a huge STEM conference!

The Mathematical Association of South Australia

South Australian Science Teachers Association of SA

will jointly be running the 2024 STEM Conference at the University of South Australia, Mawson Lakes on 29th November 2024!

This conference will feature not only Design and Technology featured workshops but will also allow our members to access workshops from all of the associations. As we return to conferences the ability to leverage the support and reach the associations above have will give our executive planning the conference the support needed to ensure a successful and highly engaging event.

Conference Theme: Harnessing STEM: Empowering Innovators

“Harnessing STEM” is a specialised conference for ALL, sharing the potential of STEM to nurture hope, shape positivity and build thriving communities. Come together to propel STEM education forward. “Harnessing STEM” promises to be a platform for inspiration, collaboration, and the Igniting of passion.
The year’s Conference will include specialised workshops for both Primary and Secondary Teachers. There will be the option to submit the usual hour-long workshop or a 30-minute workshop (which will be held in the last time slot of the day).
