Business as (Un)usual – Urban Design Competition for Primary and High School students

Please see email below:

My name is Rob Cameron – a lecturer from UWA at the Australian Urban Design Research Centre which is part of the School of Design.

I am writing to inform you of a competition we are running called Business as (Un)usual. The competition invites Australian primary and high school students to imagine a future Australian City in 2100 and send us a postcard from their future self. The competition aims to introduce students to urban design and architecture as disciplines and potential career pathways and to engage them in a discussion about what we want the future of Australian cities to be.

Here is a link to the competition website:

There you can find an outline of the competition and the submission template.

You can also register for email updates for the competition here:

If you have any questions about the competition please send me an email at robert.cameron@uwa.edu.au.

Best Regards,

Dr Rob Cameron
